Saturday's event was GREAT!! Good turnout of fight fans even though there were a lot of other events happening that night; NMC Gaduation, Taste of the Marianas, a couple weddings and etc.
There were some changes in the fight line up and a couple last minute pull outs. Out of the 15 scheduled match ups, we had 13 fights. Here they are in order and results:

1. Giovanni "PALAXI" Sablan def Maitai "THE CHARGER" Charley at 1min 40 second of round 1 via referee stoppage (flurry of punches). * This was a rematch which Sablan won again. He also used this as a "warm up" fight in preperation for his match up with Eduard "LANDSLIDE" Folayang for the URCC SUPERFIGHT set for July 18th.

2. CHINA vs. PHILIPPINES

China's Junjie "TIGER" Choi def. Philippine's Aniceto "GAGO" Ginaldo at 2min and 48 second of the very 1st rnd via tapout by punches. This was the first of a few international match ups scheduled that night. *It was a good fight for both debut fighters and although it was short, both fighters engaged in punching and kicking each other with no one giving way. Both fighters were going for the KO untill Choi took down the boxer from Davao and finished the fight on the ground.

3. TINIAN vs. SAIPAN

Tinian's Johmar Untalan tapped out early in the 1st round via RNC-Rear Naked Choke ( 21 seconds only) against Saipan's Louie Crisostomo. Both fighters were looking for their 1st win in this match up. Louie was 0-1 and Johmar was 0-2.

4. Saipan vs. Yap (FSM)

Saipan's Kevin "DROP BABY" Esteves lost by KO against TRENCH TECH's Chris "NO LUV" Laayug from Yap at 1min and 56 seconds into the 1st rd.

5. Team PWANG'S Eddie Paulis recorded his 1st win in 2 trys as he TKO'd Trench Tech's. young gun, Joe Park at 1min and 19 seconds of the 2nd rd. This was Park's debut.

6. Debut fighter, Joe "ONE BLOW" Taga(MESNGON BROs) was looking to spoil the winning streak of TRENCH TECH's up and comer Mark "THE DARK" Nuique. Nuique however was determined to make it 3 in a row and stopped Taga in the 2nd rd via referre stoppage at the 2min 55 second mark.

7. JAPAN vs SAIPAN

Johji "AKUMA" Matsunaga defeated Saipan's Mario Reyes via verbal tapout at just wmin into rd 1.

8. GUAM vs. SAIPAN

Jun "THE LEGEND" Taga dropped to 0-2 against Guam hot shot "INFAMOUS" Ray Apiag who made his 2nd appearance in ROP. Taga lost by referee stoppage at 2mins and 6 second of rd. 1.

9. Palau vs. Guam( USA ).

Palau's Snyder Ongill and Guam's Tyler Perrot both were debut fighters coming into this match up. Both weighed in at 220lbs. Both had heavy hands and both were trying to KO the other! In what was one of the most exciting fights of the evening, Perrot ultimately took the win away from Ongill at 39 seconds of round 2 via RNC.

10. "QUIK" Lee Reyes had the easiest win of the night after his opponent NO SHOWED.

11. Guam vs. Saipan

Slade "THE RAGE" Adelbai brought the RAGE to his much heavier opponent, Guam's Troy "DESTROY" Munoz and the 2 gladiators went to war with Adelbai eventually tapping his opponent out at 2mins 8 second of rd 1 via mount and pound.

12. THE SUPERFIGHT- Guam vs. Saipan

URCC Bantam weight champ, Justin "THE SHOCKER" Cruz and Saipan's Derrick "EL PELIGRO" Rangamar (Marianas Elite) brought the fans to their feet for 8mins and 32 seconds. Cruz took the win against a very game Rangamar and fans would of liked to see the fight continue, however PXC head official and guest Referee- Tony D'Angelo said Rangamar had taken too much punishment and stopped the fight in the 2nd round much to the displeasure of the Saipan fans." Fighter safety is our main concern and he(Rangamar) took 4-5 unanswered hits to the head" said D'Angelo.

13. SEMI MAIN Guam vs. Saipan
Guam's Jess "The Spiderman" Taitano was simply just too technical and experienced for Saipan's "Taby" Jay Muna. Muna looked like he wanted to stand and bang with the Spiderman but Taitano decided to end it quickly and took the fight to the ground where he submitted Muna by triangle arm lock at just 1 min 12 seconds of the very 1st rd.

14. HEAVY WEIGHT MAIN EVENT- Guam vs. Saipan

Former PXC Heavyweight champion was in championship form again as he wore down his much bigger opponent Ton Robert all throughout the entire 1st rd with solid leg licks and accurate punches. Robert for his part couldn't seem to find his rythem and landed only a handfull of strikes. Ton Robert looked tired and exhausted by the second round and signalled the referee that he had had enough and verbally tapped out before the start of rd 2.

All in all the fights were great and 4 lucky MMA fans will be flying to Guam for the next Pacific Xtreme Combat after winnig the raffel for the PXC FLYAWAY.

Mark your calendars Fight Fans, July 18th will be TRENCH WARZ 10- "COLLISION!" Which will be an all Guam vs. Saipan match up and Japan vs. China or Korea in the MAIN EVENT!!! Stay tuned for details!!
