13 fights on 'Fright Night'

Trench Warz 13: Vengeance will adopt the theme “Fight Night, Fright Night” in celebration of Halloween and incidentally will offer 13 fights at the Royal Taga Hall of the Saipan World Resort on Oct. 29.

Fans who will watch the bouts are encouraged to wear costumes. Prizes from Trench Warz 13 sponsors await winners in the most scariest and sexiest costumes.

“Fight Night, Fright Night” will begin at 8pm, but doors will be open as early as 7pm.

Trench Warz 13 spectators will be treated to a double main event featuring USA's JJ Ambrose against Japan's MasaKazu Taguchi in a 155lb super-fight.

The finale main event will be between Guam's Ryan “The Dentist” Urquizu and Saipan's Giovanni “Palaxi” Sablan with the visiting fighter aiming for vengeance. Urquizu lost his first encounter with Palaxi in 2007 at Preba Hao 10 in Guam, as the Saipan fighter scored a TKO win.
Before the main event, a Saipan versus Saipan will take place between 135-lb fighters Mark “The Dark” Nuque and CJ “Face” Takai. Next up is Saipan's Jun “The Legend” Taga challenging Tinian's Conrad Manglona in a 155-lb fight.

Pinchi “El Peligro” Rangamar will then be pitted against undefeated Craig “Earthquake” Borja of Tinian at 140lbs. “Badd” Brad Palacios will be featured in another 140-lb bout, but Trench Tech is still looking for his opponent.

In the 185-lb Saipan versus Saipan bout, Ed “Styx” Castro will go toe to toe against Slade “The Rage” Adelbai and the fight will be followed by a 150-lb Guam versus Japan battle between Rob “The Real Deal” Wusstig and Tomoya “Katana” Kato.

After the Guam versus Japan brawl, two Guam versus Saipan battles take the octagon cage. Guam's Wynue “One Time” Bamba will fight Saipan's Darrel “The Derailer” Salas at 180lbs, while Guam's Thomas Cruz will be up against Saipan's Fasi “Quickdraw” Jesse in a 170-lb middleweight bout.

There are three potential amateur bouts to kick off the night. In a 145-lb bout, Tinian's Joe Ray “Manglo” Manglona will take on Saipan's John Moses. Then in a 130-lb K-1 kickboxing match, “Tabi” Jay Muna will face Jacob Ilo, while female fighter Niana “Cup Cake” Dela Cruz is still looking for an opponent for a 135-lb special feature ladies bout.

Dela Cruz is 18 years old and weighs 135lbs. If anyone is interested in challenging her, contract Trench Tech president Cuki Alvarez at 483-4MMA. Dela Cruz's challenger must be 18 years old or older, preferably also a first-timer, and matches her weight.
